Organic Ginger root: health benefits of ginger that are supported by scientific research. Ginger is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that have powerful benefits for your body and brain. It’s one of the very few superfoods actually worthy of that term.
Ginger is high in gingerol, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Just 1–1.5 grams of ginger can help prevent various types of nausea, including chemotherapy-related nausea, nausea after surgery, and morning sickness. According to studies in animals and humans, ginger may help improve weight-related measurements. Cinnamon is one of the most delicious and healthiest spices on the planet. It can lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors and has a plethora of other impressive health benefits. It is high in cinnamaldehyde, which is thought to be responsible for most of cinnamon’s health benefits. Cinnamaldehyde has antifungal and antibacterial properties, which may reduce infections and help fight tooth decay and bad breath. It also contains large amounts of highly potent polyphenol antioxidants, that have anti-inflammatory effects, which may help lower your risk of disease. May improve some key risk factors for heart disease, including cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure. Cinnamon has been shown to significantly increase sensitivity to the hormone insulin. By increasing insulin sensitivity, cinnamon can lower blood sugar levels that may be helpful with serious conditions like metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes. Cinnamon has been shown to be helpful to diabetics. PREPARATION: 1TSP TO 1 TBSP PER CUP OF TEA (8-10 OUNCES). POUR BOILED WATER INTO THE CUP OR CONTAINER OF YOUR CHOICE, THEN PLACE THE AMOUNT OF TEA INTO THE WATER (INTO THE THE LOOSE TEA DESIGNATED PLACE), PLEASE DO NOT STIR, IF THERE IS, PLACE A COVER AND LET STEEP FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOLED ENOUGH TO ENJOY WITHOUT BURNING YOURSELF.
